Why I Chose CUNY SPS

Here at CUNY SPS, we are eagerly awaiting the upcoming Fall 2024 Semester!  A new semester is always packed with excitement at CUNY SPS, and we are delighted to welcome our new and returning students and wish them a great year ahead.

At the start of each semester, we like to remind our students what a positive choice they have made for themselves, their careers, and their families by choosing CUNY SPS.

But we know that our students are the best sources to make the case for how pivotal studying at CUNY SPS can be. Here are a few stories from our students, who will speak about the impact of CUNY SPS and its academic programs in their own words. Enjoy!

Nina Medrano, a student in our MS in Business Management and Leadership program, describes how she wanted her daughter to see her work towards her goals, and then celebrate with her child when she hit the finish line.

Shana Brown, a student in our BS in Business program, explains why the flexibility and affordability of her online education at CUNY SPS was so important for her and her family.

Patricia Kerrigan shares how she is learning to enact social change through the BA in Youth Studies program.
