Why did you choose to continue your education at CUNY SPS?  Why the online BS in Business degree?

I chose to continue my education at CUNY SPS because of affordability and flexibility. 

What was your motivation for returning to school for your bachelor’s degree?

My motivation to return to school is my children.  I want to set a good example for them and continue my education so they can see that they can do it as well when it’s their turn.

Which courses/aspects of the program have you enjoyed most thus far?

The programs that I have enjoyed the most have been Business Math 201 and English 331.  The classes were very easy to follow, so I enjoyed them very much.  I was able to focus on the readings and the assignments.

How does your degree relate to your career that you have OR the career that you want?

I would like to own my own business in the near future so that is why I chose a degree in business administration.

What professional or personal goals would you like to achieve during your time at CUNY SPS?

My goal is to be prepared to run my own business and be successful at it.

In which ways have you grown so far as a result of your studies at CUNY SPS?

So far, I have learned all the skills needed to have a business.  I have acquired the knowledge I need to make it in the business industry.

What’s the greatest piece of advice you’ve received while at CUNY SPS?

The greatest advice I have received at CUNY SPS is not to give up on your dreams and that you are never too old to achieve a degree.

What advice would you offer someone considering applying for admission to your program or to someone who is juggling a family, school, and other obligations?

One piece of advice I would give someone who is considering applying to my degree program is to give yourself enough time to apply to your courses.  Don’t leave your assignments to last minute, you will find yourself falling behind and loaded with work. 

What do you hope to do after graduating from CUNY SPS?  What does your future look like?

I plan on opening an online woman’s clothing store.
