Daniel Reden
Daniel Reden is an individual who epitomizes determination, hard work, and empathy. He is the son of Nigerian immigrants and a former foster kid who realized the importance of education and hard work at a young age. Daniel is a poet, a music artist, a twin, a lover of God, and most of all, unapologetically himself. Daniel, in addition to being a business major at CUNY SPS, works for NPower, a nonprofit organization connecting minorities and veterans to high-earning tech jobs.
Daniel has advocated for those around him for his entire life. Growing up in Brownsville, and being the middle of 12 children, he found his voice early. His life experiences and knowledge have shaped him to be a thoughtful, kind, and empathetic man who considers the emotions and aspirations of everyone he’s met and has the foresight to anticipate that of those he hasn’t. On Student Council, Daniel wants to organize In-Person events to foster community in our online school. As a part of Student Government, he aims to create and approve majors that reflect the student body.
