Matos Rodríguez in which he interviews political, business, and civic leaders to discuss how CUNY lifts New York, featured CUNY SPS Foundation board member Beatriz de la Torre, as well as CUNY SPS alums Leonard Blades, Rachel Castillo, and LaTroya Lovell.

Several CUNY SPS MA in Applied Theatre alumni presented at the American Alliance for Theatre and Education (AATE) symposium on research and publishing hosted by NYU. The attendees and their projects are: Sarah Bellatoni (’11), "Verbatim Performance as Embodied Inquiry in the High School History Classroom"; Madeline Calandrillo (’19) and Sindy Isabel Castro (’19), "In My Dreams/En Mis Sueños: Creating Bilingual Work for the Very Young"; Megan Raab (’23), "Bust a Move(ment): Applying a Liberatory Pedagogy to Dance"; Ania Upstill (’23), "Discovering Stewardship through Play: A Collaborative Approach to Using Applied Theater Techniques for Environmental Education"; and Helio A.
