For the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the CUNY IT Conference will once again be held in-person at John Jay College of Criminal Justice! CUNY SPS assistant dean of information technology, Bronwen Stine, will co-chair along with York College's Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning, Greet Van Belle. The theme this year is "The Power and Perils of Scripting," where we gather to reflect on the many ways in which repeatable processes can be levereaged to support student success. We'll also critically examine our scripted processes and narratives to challenge when scripts can limit access or stymie innovation. There will be presentations and displays from some of CUNY's technology vendors, and keynotes from the new university Provost, Wendy Hensel and Burning Glass Institute's Matt Sigelman. The conference will be introduced by university CIO Seb Formoso.
