Textbook Grant

The CUNY School of Professional Studies (CUNY SPS) Textbook Grant is offered by the CUNY SPS Foundation to support students with textbook costs. If awarded, students will receive a book voucher of up to $200 for use at the school’s bookstore, Akademos. Please note the eligibility requirements below:

Award Amount:

• The award amount is a voucher for Akademos, the CUNY SPS Online Bookstore, of up to $200
• ​This voucher can only be used towards the required textbook materials as verified through Akademos
• Do note this is not a reimbursement program for textbooks. In other words, we cannot reimburse you if you chose to purchase books from another vendor
• The voucher will only cover the cost of textbooks and not shipping costs

Scholarship Criteria:

• Enrolled in a CUNY SPS degree or certificate program
• Must demonstrate financial need
• Undergraduate students cannot apply if they already are in receipt of a Pell book advance
• Enrolled in courses with textbook costs
