Maintaining SEEK Eligibility

To remain enrolled in the CUNY SPS SEEK program and receive SEEK financial assistance, students must:

• Enroll in at least 6 credit hours per semester
• Maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA or above each semester at CUNY SPS
• Meet with their assigned SEEK Counselor at least twice a semester
• Attend at least two SEEK events each semester
• Have remaining semesters of Opportunity Program eligibility
• Maintain their New York State residency status. (If a student leaves New York State and returns, they need to establish residency for 12 months before they can regain SEEK eligibility
• Students risk losing their SEEK program spot if they do not enroll for 3 consecutive semesters. The student must apply for readmission both for the college and to the SEEK program
